Life is so busy, most of us just get the ”essentials” done.  There is such little time for sorting out and re-organising and yet we are constantly adding to what we possess. We are in a cycle of buying, using, losing, forgetting, running out of time and buying again; wasting not only our resources but our time as well. A disorganised space costs us time and money and impacts our daily lives by adding to stress when we can’t find what we want.  We generally always have more than we need and often we don’t even know every item we own, or how to find it.

 

• Often we like to hold on to things “just in case” or because they are sentimental.  

• Sometimes we hang on to things because we feel guilty about throwing them away or we have aspirations to use them, but rarely actually do  

• Usually, we have good intentions to sort out the cupboards/garage/attic/closet but time gets the better of us

• Maybe we are overwhelmed by the task and don’t know where to start or how to make it better 

• Occasionally we are emotionally exhausted in times of bereavement or other life-changing events

 

This is where we can help by starting the process with you, offering practical solutions and simple systems that you can maintain.  We don’t judge or make you do anything that doesn’t feel right for you. We can help source storage solutions, display options, furniture or whatever else is needed to make life easier.  If you agree, photographs are taken at the beginning and the end of the project so you can see the transformation and refer back to it at the end of the process. These photos are wonderful reminders in the months ahead of how far you have come and empower you to continue.
 

A confidentiality agreement is always signed at the start of the work to ensure your privacy and to allay any fears you may have about us coming across sensitive information during the decluttering process.
